Anti-Taleban Alliance Slam Militia Talks Rejection

KABUL An official from Afghanistan's anti-Taleban coalition on Wednesday slammed a militia decision to abandon direct talks and seek military gains in the north of the country. A spokesman for the anti-Taleban government urged the international community to pressure the hard-line militia to return to talks and warned the southern rivals that a current round of attacks would fail. From the very beginning the position of the Taleban was clear.
